MYSTXRIVL x SOKOS to release new single ‘Pixel’ via Liquid Ritual

We were fortunate enough to catch an advance listen of MYSTXRIVL x SOKOS‘ new single ‘Pixel’ (out 30 August via Liquid Ritual) – and we were blown away…

Hailing from Gliwice, Poland, MYSTXRIVL is an incredible wave artist with a reputation for crafting ethereal soundscapes and a passion for liquid atmospherics. He draws inspiration from a plethora of electronic platforms and believes his music embodies ‘Post-Trap, Post-Dubstep, Trance and R&B’ vibes. In recent years MYSTXRIVL’s darkly emotional compositions have earned him a dedicated wave fan base, although he doesn’t consider himself a wave purist. He is a member of renowned collective Wavemob and has collaborated with some of the biggest names on the wave circuit including Klimeks and Kareful.

In spite of his reluctance to pigeonhole himself, fellow Pole Sokos largely moves within the wave and witch house scenes and has already put out some incredible collaborations with MYSTXRIVL (check out the mindblowing Heptan) while also collaborating with other amazing artists such as Deadcrow. He regularly plays gigs across Poland and has also performed in Nuremburg, Germany.

Off the back of some exceptional recent releases (including massive tracks from artists such as Vacant, Pholo and Dyzphoria), Liquid Ritual is going from strength to strength at present and in spite of its as-yet relatively short lifespan it already has the feel of an established project. The release of the incredible ‘Pixel’ will, we believe, only add more fuel to the fire of this hugely exciting label.

MYSTXRIVL told Insight: “My newest track with SOKOS is probably one of the best we’ve ever made. It’s fresh and unique in every way. My collabs with SOKOS are really spontaneous and we always try to make something different and push the scene forward. We have more projects on the way together!”

‘Pixel’ will be released here and here on 30 August 2017. Don’t miss it!
